PNG’s rising music talent Naxii Jay took home three major awards from his three nominations at the 20th Yumi FM PNG Musik Awards.

The young artist won the 2025 Song of the Year award with his hit track Lakemanda Landslide, alongside the 2025 Best New Artist award and the 2025 Listener’s Choice Award — also for Lakemanda Landslide.

Speaking to PNG Haus Bung after the awards, Naxii Jay said it was his first time being recognised on such a major platform and thanked Yumi FM for the honour.

“This is my very first award and I am so happy and proud to come this far,” he said.

He also thanked fans across the country for supporting and voting for his hit song Lakemanda Landslide.

Naxii Jay added that supporters can expect more exciting music releases in the near future.
